Shy & Alive, From Off-Center I'm a disabled Navy Veteran looking for friends with similar interests. I enjoy just about anything to do with music, and it's a huge part of my life. I read about it, study it, play it, compose it, and of course listen to it. I can listen to almost anything, though I do have a particularly strong prejudice for Jazz. I also play guitar, and would like to learn to play piano and saxophone some day. Most of my interests outside of music are from a solitary perspective (i.e. reading, etc...), so when I'm with someone I try to be as open and flexible about trying new things as possible and let them lead. I do however have a strong interest in exploring folk/historical Minnesota. I was in Montana for 10 years prior to March of 2010, and that after wandering the globe as a serviceman and spouse of a service woman. So I haven't been "home" much since joining the Navy in 1981, and I'd really like to get to know Minnesota again. I'm looking for someone intelligent, curious, gentle, and non-materialistic with a very playful side (I love to tickle), and a good sense of humor.
